
Georg W. Pabst directs this classic silent drama from the 1920s. Jeanne Ney (�dith J�hanne) flees Russia as the Bolsheviks come close to taking power. Once in Paris, however, she continues to be caught up in the on-going battles between communists and revolutionaries. The arrival of her lover Andreas (Uno Henning) along with devious agent Khalibiev (Fritz Rasp) sets in motion a series of events that will put Jeanne's life at risk.
