The accounts of the floods and the recalcitrant diesel provide a picture of potential peril that will keep readers turning the pages, delivering what the best of this type of book promises.

This interesting cruising narrative recounts one couple's sail home--with their dog--to Vancouver, British Columbia, from Hong Kong where they'd been living. Their refurbished 37-foot Dufour steel ketch was well-suited for the long voyage...Their descriptions of the voyage, the places they visited and their experiences will entertain you, especially if you have a little wanderlust. In many ways, I envy them--they have made memories to last a lifetime.
