Five of the best episodes from the popular comedy show. In 'Competition Time' Fathers Ted, Dougal and Jack all enter the local talent contest as Elvis impersonators. 'Cigarettes and Alcohol and Rollerblading' sees the unholy trio tricked into giving up their few material pleasures for Lent by Father Dick Burn of Rugged Island. In 'A Song for Europe' Ted comes up against Dick once again when the latter challenges him to produce a winning entry for Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest. 'Speed 3' finds Dougal trapped on a milkfloat with a bomb in an episode strangely reminiscent of a disaster movie (could it be 'The Poseidon Adventure'? Ted is pretty sure that Gene Hackman plays a priest in it). Finally, in 'The Mainland', Ted and Dougal encounter Richard 'I don't believe it' Wilson when they take a trip to the mainland for the day. However, the famously irascible television star is less than pleased when Ted decides to repeat his catchphrase to him. The DVD contains the exclusive to DVD episode 'A Christmassy Ted' in which all Ted wants is a quiet Christmas. But how easy is that?
