The secret lives of animals - Greg McLeod

The natural world is full of awesome surprises, and the animal kingdom is no exception. Or that elephants, as well as having famously impressive memories, are also sophisticated communicators who send signals to each other using a wide range of body language? Or that parrots, as well as being amazing mimics, are able to learn dance moves? YouTube star Snowball, the dancing cockatoo, has a very entertaining fourteen-move repertoire.

Greg McLeod is an illustrator, animator and director. He won an Association of Illustrators Gold Award for his work on BBC comedy animation Sticks. His last short film, Marfa, entirely drawn and animated by Greg, had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for a BAFTA Film Award for British Short Animation.
