Lots of people said lots of nice things about Lab Zero Games' previous release, Skullgirls. It came as little to no surprise, then, that the studio secured a tidy $3.6 million from Kickstarter for this follow-up, Indivisible. The four year wait was, actually, a bit of a surprise for some, but the important thing is that they delivered and fans are going to be excited to see what Lab Zero has made.

The answer is an action RPG-cum-platformer with real-time combat and rather lovely hand-drawn art.

Indivisible follows Ajna, a rebellious young lass without much by way of fear and, as it happens, a mysterious power that emerges when her rural home is attacked. She discovers that when she meets beings called 'Incarnations' she can absorb them then manifest them to fight alongside her at will, bringing with them their particular personalities and abilities.

Ditching the usual medieval Europe aesthetic of fantasy games, Indivisible serves up a huge fantasy world that draws on a range of cultures and mythologies. As Ajna unites people from faraway lands she'll learn about both herself and the world that she's trying to save.
