Triple-bill of films starring Sandra Bullock. In '28 Days' (2000), after her alcoholic misdemeanors land her in court on a drunk-driving charge, Gwen Cummings (Bullock) is sentenced to 28 days in rehab. Arriving at the clinic, Gwen at first resists the discipline and emotional honesty required by her treatment, but she soon forms bonds with the other inmates and builds up the courage to tackle her problem. Also starring Steve Buscemi, Viggo Mortensen and Elizabeth Perkins. In 'The Net' (1995) Bullock plays Angela Bennett, a freelance computer systems analyst who tracks down software viruses. At night she hooks up to the internet and chats to others 'surfing the net'. While de-bugging a high-tech game, she comes across a top secret programme and becomes the target of a mysterious organisation who will stop at nothing to erase her identity and her existence. Finally, in 'Forces of Nature' (1999) Ben (Ben Affleck) is stranded in New York when his plane skids out of control just two days before his wedding. Together with eccentric passenger Sarah (Bullock), Ben attempts to hitch a lift to his wedding, but is delayed when the driver is arrested for possession of marijuana. From then on, nothing goes right for the hapless Ben, but the free-spirited Sarah manages to affect the outlook of the straight-laced husband-to-be. As they travel across America, the oddly-matched couple realise they have a lot to offer each other.
