Description

The complete first series of the religious drama following a church minister's attempts to move on from the death of his wife. Adam Smith (Andrew Keir) feels a void in his life following the loss of his beloved wife. However, with his parishioners in great need of his advice and understanding, with poverty, marriage breakdowns and religious fault lines in the community among the issues that need to be addressed, he has little time to feel sorry for himself. Moreover, with his daughter Annie (Brigit Forsyth) in need of his care and the sceptical Doctor Andrew Calvi (Tom Conti) continually raising objections to religious policies, there is plenty to keep him on his toes.
