Here is to the memories of those first few months of getting used to the "Western way of life," the years of "hustling," the weather disorientations, the culture shocks, even the days we sat in our rooms and asked ourselves, "what am I still doing here?" Here is to what made our migrant experiences worth remembering, worth living, worth sharing.

These are my stories - they are OUR stories. Maybe the memories will make you laugh, nod, wipe a tear, chuckle, shake your head, kiss your teeth or simply smile. Whatever you feel - remember life is a journey, a journey worth pausing sometimes to replay the good, the bad and the ugly.
