Description

Age of Empires: Mythologies for the DS is based on Age of Mythology, the best selling PC real-time strategy game. The game puts you in control of one of three civilisations with the intent of taking over the fantasy world they inhabit. You will be able to choose Norse, Greek or Egyptian armies to control, each one with their own gods and heroes. With a large range of units including special Hero units who can affect the entire battlefield, the turn-based battles can be played alone or with up to three opponents using the DS's wireless networking. This is also available over Wi-Fi, but your opponents will need a game cartridge each. You can also get help from your gods by building monuments to them, they will then bestow abilities to your heroes. Your empire won't just run itself while you happily wade into battle, though. You'll have to manage building projects from town centres to mines, and search for relics that will enable your troops to learn new skills. You'll also have to research and improve your technology to ensure victory in battle.
