What started as a support group has become a close-knit friendship of women who have been there, done that, and understand the loss. They offer each other advice, support, shoulders to cry on, and friends to help them laugh again.

Carly Lowry, a third-grade teacher at the school located on base at Fort Murphy, has been trying to move on after losing her husband more than a year ago, but nothing seems to feel right. Until she meets Dane Clark, a combat veteran who is undergoing rehab for in injuries at Fort Murphy. Together Carly and Dane are finally able to let go of the pain in their pasts and find new love.
