A journey through Yorkshire

Jarrold Publishing is proud to present four new titles for spring 2001. The new Journey Through series will include - Yorkshire, The Peak District, The Scottish Borders and The Scottish Highlands and Islands. A Journey Through Yorkshire features superb colour photography of the Yorkshire scenery that stretches from the Dales to the North Sea coast and includes both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors national parks. Yorkshire contains some of the most attractive countryside in Britain. The distinctive feature of the Dales is its magnificent limestone landscape, but it also contains high, exposed moorlands. The valleys on the other hand present a striking contrast with small woods, riverside meadows and neat green fields separated by miles of drystone walls, doted with exquisite villages. To the east, the North York Moors also contains many attractive and unspoilt villages.
