All Star Cheerleader helped to introduce the noble art of adding team spirit to an American Football match by allowing players to participate in cheerleading activities. This year, THQ presents a new pom-pom wielding challenge in the form of All Star Cheerleader 2.

Those with a desire to become the world's very best sports showman (or showlady) can travel across 14 locations around the globe in this game, sharing the message of love, happiness and peace via the medium of dance, human pyramids and spelling out team names.

You're not a newbie at the cheerleading game anymore, so you have to step up your performance if you want to be taken seriously. Starting as the captain of the Tiger Squad, you use an all-new move set that's been incorporated into the game by using two Wii Remotes, and optionally the Wii Balance Board. Moves are based on real-world aerial stunts, formations and tumbling acrobatics that take full advantage of the Wii's motion controls.

But it's not all about you. As the captain, you have to pick the cream of the crop to join your squad and help you. And you can go all Barbie on them by dressing them all up, doing their hair and makeup and selecting music for them to perform to. Once you have your team set up, challenge them against your friend's squad by using WiiConnect24. The most active cheerleading experience just got better.
