If you think that Noughts and Crosses (Tic-Tac-Toe) or Battleships & Cruisers represent the outer limits of pen and paper games, think again. This collection of 100 games will help to fill your leisure time for years to come. Most of the games described are absolutely new and invented specially for this book. Some are variants on established favourites but, where this is the case, they have been so profoundly changed that they are, in effect, brand new games. These games have some great advantages. First, they require only the simplest of materials - usually a pen and a piece of paper, though sometimes squared paper is needed (once you've learnt the rules by heart you won't even need to take this book with you!).
