Feature-length documentary following Iraqi heavy metal band Acrassicauda over the three-year period following the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003. Playing heavy metal in a Muslim country was always going to be a tricky proposition, but when Saddam's regime was toppled, there was a short period when artistic freedom seemed a real possibility for the band. However, that hope was quickly dashed as their country fell into a bloody insurgency. As Iraq disintegrated around them, the members of Acrassicauda embarked on an epic struggle to stay together and to stay alive, refusing to let their heavy metal dreams die.
