Amended Charter of the Raleigh and Gaston Rail Road Company

Sec. 5. Be it further 'enatced, That in all gen eral meetings of the said company, each stockholder shall be entitled to glve one vote for each sha1e not exceeding ten sha1es, and one vote for every tl11ee shares above ten shares; and it shall be lawful for the board of1nte111al improvements to appomt some suit able 'pe1son to 1epresent the interest of the State 1n all such meetings, who shall have a 1ight to vote on all quest1ons coming befo1e them, except in the election ofthe directors, to be appomted by the individual stock, holders.
