Description

Biopic telling the story of 1930s aviatrix Amy Johnson (Harriet Walter), who flew across the world in a tiny biplane and became an international celebrity. The drama chronicles her life from her early days as an ordinary girl in Hull, through her tempestuous marriage to fellow aviator Jim Mollison (Clive Francis), up until her mysterious death in 1941 after crashing into the River Thames while making a routine flight carrying wartime supllies.
