Description

Documentary in two parts looking at the famous American P47 Thunderbolt fighter aircraft during the Second World War. Heavily armed and able to take considerable punishment, the Thunderbolt was used in a variety of ground-attack, bomber escort and interceptor roles. 'Ramrod to Eden' was a contemporary documentary following the 8th Air Force on a bombing raid over Germany. William Wyler directs the classic 'Thunderbolt', a documentary following the progress of the Italian campaign.
