Although the Memphis Belle made her last flight on July 17, 1946, her spirit continues to fly under the care of the MBMA. Just Flight is extremely honoured to be working with the MBMA to release this officially endorsed expansion for the latest in the Flight Simulator series. The Memphis Belle is one of the most famous B-17s of WWII. After completing 25 missions with her original crew, she returned home to the US for a War Bond tour and was subsequently designated a national historic treasure by the US Air Force. There has been a popular Hollywood film made about the Belle as well as countless newsreels, newspapers, books, and studies. She is currently leased and maintained by the Memphis Belle Memorial Association. Just Flight's re-creation will not only let you soak up the atmosphere of this magnificent aircraft, but also help you to understand the skill and courage of the aircraft's crew. In Combat Flight Simulator 3, you can take off from Bassingbourn Airfield, the Belle's home during her combat career in WWII, and fly each of those 25 remarkable missions. And in Flight Simulator 2002 or 2004 you can re-fly the Memphis Belle on her War Bond tour of the USA. The game comes complete with highly detailed aircraft models, accurate historic missions, weather conditions, gorgeous scenery, and is officially endorsed by the Memphis Belle Memorial Association, guaranteeing an authentic combat simulator expansion pack.
