One of the leading violinists of his time, Adolf Busch (1891-1952) has left an outstanding musical heritage in chamber music. He founded the Busch Quartet in 1921. 'A rich harvest of performances, imbued with the unique spirit of a great German musician and humanist. We are still hearing aspects of Busch today, because he laid down so many of the parameters in the classics, but it is good to refresh our memory of the man himself' says Tully Potter.
