Description

Los Angeles Detective Meechum (Brian Dennehy) is a burnt-out cop who writes crime novels in his spare time. Inspiration, however, has dried up since his wife died. Hit-man Cleve (James Wood) offers him the story of a lifetime - the chance to expose a tycoon as a major criminal - from which Meechum could write a best-seller with sleazy Cleve as its hero. But personalities soon clash.
