Description

Billy Childish has reinvented himself more than Billy Liar, but has never lost his raw edge and sardonic wit. Filmed during the Nothing But Trash all dayer at Nottingham Palais in April 1984, Thee Milkshakes practically stole the show with their heady blend of mutant surf punk and retro pop tunes. Nearly ten years later and Thee Headcoats were touring and recording ferociously. Caught live at the Picket, Liverpool on 29th September 1993, Billy stuck to his belief in musical devolution and paired his band down to the bare minimum without losing any of the impact.
