Following this, he spent two years working at the University of Aberdeen examining the pharmacological actions of cannabinoids before taking up his present position in 1990. Andrew Wickens has been involved in teaching Psychology and Neuroscience for over 15 years which has also included tutoring for the Open University. He is also the author of a number of scientific papers and has recently published The Causes of Aging (Harwood Academic Press). His present research interests include the neuroscience of aging.
