Description

From the well-seasoned devs behind the likes of Void Bastards and Card Hunter, Wild Bastards is a roguelike first-person shooter that has you travelling between planets to recruit, manage and fight with a team of elite gunslingers, each with their own weaponry, special ability and skill tree. Your gang, the titular Wild Bastards, used to be the most feared outlaws in the galaxy, until Jebediah Chaste's puritanical posse started picking them off. Down to just two members, the remainder of the gang have teamed up with a sentient spaceship to find and resurrect their dead gang mates so they can all leg it to the mythical Homestead. Instead of lengthy campaign, think short sharp showdowns and you'll have the pace of Wild Bastards. Gunfights are scrappy, tactical affairs and deploying the right gang members for the fight in question will stand you in good stead. The galaxy is procedurally-generated, with variations in terrain, weather and even gravity meaning that each encounter will be its own beast.
