"Blue Peter" is one of the best-known and loved programmes on British children's television: it is a magazine programme featuring reports from around the world, celebrity guests, music, sport, pets, food and a whole lot more. Since broadcast started in 1958 there have been more than 3500 programmes, and the programme is still going strong on both terrestrial and digital channels.;In this annual, there is an eclectic mix of foreign adventure, extreme sports, a recipe for Halloween green pea soup, and an East End market stall to make, children dancing in the studio with Gareth Gates and a tribute to James Bond, to name but a few of the activities that have occupied the Blue Peter team during the year.
