Documentary that explores the relationship between Bob Dylan and the backing band who accompanied him on his first electric tour. Dylan's 1966 electric tour divided his audience, with one British spectator famously branding him 'Judas' for abandoning his acoustic guitar. Branching out into electric music meant that Dylan required a backing band and he was joined onstage for the tour by a group of Canadian musicians known as the Hawks. The documentary tells the story of how the Hawks came to be known as simply 'The Band' and explores their relationship with Dylan.
