This era included Dylan's alleged motorcycle accident and subsequent recuperation, the sessions recorded with The Band at Big Pink that became known as the Basement Tapes, his appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival and return to the live arena, and the release of albums including 'John Wesley Harding', 'Nashville Skyline', 'Self Portrait' and 'Blood On the Tracks'.
