Bonaparte's warriors - Richard Howard

During four years of uneasy peace France has seen many changes. Alain Lausard and his companions have become part of Bonaparte's Grande Armee, an incredibly well organised and efficient fighting force capable of conquering Europe. But there are those who still oppose Bonaparte and his regime. Several plots against his life are foiled but one threatens to plunge France into anarchy.
When the leading conspirator flees to Bavaria, Bonaparte despatches Lausard and his dragoons to bring him back for trial. A hazardous enough mission in itself but, worse, it contravenes a neutrality act and gives Bonaparte's enemies the chance they have been looking for. War looms again...
