Description

Michael Aspel narrates this three-volume box set detailing the key events of the Second World War. 'Battle of Britain' chronicles the events surrounding the aerial battles between England and Germany in 1940, at which time the British public were contributing as much scrap iron as possible to help build aeroplanes. 'The Blitz' features the raids on London by the Luftwaffe which left one in six homeless, while 'The Final Chapter' outlines the closing events of the war, following the Nazi defeat in Russia and the Allied liberation of Europe spearheaded by D-Day on 6th June.
