Collection of documentaries that examine the history of British steam locomotives. 'Super Power British Pacifics' examines the inter-war emergence of a new, more powerful, form of steam locomotive. 'British Narrow Gauge' identifies and explores a number of British narrow gauge railways, designed for steam travel, including the Welsh Highland Railway, the Isle of Man Railway, the Darjeeling Railway and the Snowdon Mountain Railway. 'GWR Mixed Traffic' looks at the Great Western Railways locomotives of 1902 to 1922, designed by George Jackson Churchward. Finally, 'Heavy Freight' examines a selection of heavy freight trains, including the North Eastern Railway T2/LNER Q6 and Q7, the LNWR Super D and the LMS Crab and Mogul.
