Description

This performance from the last night of the 100th season of the Proms in 1994 features Welsh bass-baritone, Bryn Terfel, and Scottish percussionist, Evelyn Glennie. Terfel enters into the party spirit by dressing as a Welsh rugby supporter. The wide-ranging programme includes works by Bach, Walton, Massenet and Elgar. Andrew Davis conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra with the BBC Singers and the BBC Symphony Chorus.
