Malachi Connolly directs this documentary about the bohemian architects of the 1930s who, over the course of 20 years, transformed the woods of Cape Cod into a community of around 100 modernist houses. Originally built as summer houses for the Bauhaus architects and their families who had fled Europe during the Second World War, the U.S. government established the Cape Cod National Seashore Act which created the law that any houses built after 1959 would automatically become property of the park on the death of the owner. The documentary features interviews with homeowner Ruth Hatch and park ranger Bill Burke who give their opinions on the changing landscape of Cape Cod.
