Burkwoodi

Colin Burkwoodii is eleven and lives in the village of Alton on Weir, South Derbyshire, England. He is a normal boy with a defect in his left leg that brands him as a cripple. He is bullied at school but is encouraged to live life to the full. Colin perseveres and, in spite of the bullying, has many adventures, he then discovers the Force, and has to learn to harness it. Unknown to him there is an organisation that also uses this Force, for the good of mankind. This organisation, for possible selection as a Novice, is observing Colin. If selected he will begin a strict traning programme. A second group, of theatrical artists, have also obtained this power, but they use it to rob the rich, for their own personal gain. Colin is still blissfully unaware of the existence of these other organisations. He believes he is the only one in the world who has conquered this powerful Force. Burkwoodii is book one of a Trilogy, following the progress of Colin from the age of 11 through to 20.
