The silent comedian Buster Keaton's acting trademark was physical comedy with a stoic, deadpan expression on his face, earning him the nickname 'The Great Stone Face'. His early film work, featured in this collection from the 1920s, was a series of shorts produced just after his introduction to film, courtesy of that other comedy heavyweight, Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle.
