Description

TV mini-series adapted from Jack London's classic novel about Buck the dog. Set in a mining town in Alaska, the series follows the life of headstrong teenager Miles Challenger (Shane Meier) who, despite his naivety, is determined to be a guide for the townsfolk. After he rescues Buck, the two become a team protecting the town's people, visitors and prospectors from harm. They move in with John Thornton (Nick Mancuso), Buck's owner, and together they work to keep the town safe. Along the way Miles finds a friend in Mercedes (Kathleen Duborg) and develops a crush on Emma (Crystal Buble). As Miles begins to grow up and find his way in the world, his friends, along with Buck, are always there to help.
