Originally a PlayStation exclusive, Capcom's hugely successful Resident Evil series was so popular that it was destined to make appearances on other platforms, but more specifically, PC.
With three AAA-list instalments released, the PC conversions of Resident Evil 1 and 2 have proved to be superior to its 32-bit predecessors.
After a considerable period of time, Resident Evil 3 finally makes the conversion; but what's different? As far as game content is concerned, there is nothing different about this PC conversion; however, some of the hidden features of the PlayStation classic have been made instantly available for PC.
The additional game, Mercenaries, and some of Jill Valentine's extra sexy outfits have been made instantly available from the beginning.
The most obvious improvement is without a doubt shown in the visual capabilities of the PC, despite this being dependent on the individual's machine.
Also, specific to PC, you are now given the option to alter the resolution of your graphics; a feature left out in previous conversions.
An added bonus of the gameplay is the option to skip those irritating door animations that haunted the PlayStation. As a complete title, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is little more than a straight port of the PlayStation original, but Capcom's Resident Evil series is such a classic, that this should not act as a deterrent.
Resident Evil 3 is a good game.
Enough said.
