Description

A Celtic FC double bill. On August 27th 2000 Celtic, under new manager Martin O'Neill, took on arch rivals Rangers at Parkhead for the first of the four Old Firm league games the two teams were due to play that season. Rangers were the firm favourites after their convincing wins in the previous season. But Celtic, with the return of Henrik Larsson and new signing Chris Sutton proved far too good for them with both getting two goals in the 6-2 demolition. The whole match is shown here in 'Demolition Derby'. In 'Jinky', red-haired Jimmy Johnstone's career is profiled from his early days in the school playground through to his glory days under the leadership of Jock Stein.
