Nikolaj Znaider performs three violin concertos at the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, recorded in September 2012 and October 2014. Accompanied by the Gewandhausorchester and conducted by Riccardo Chailly, Znaider performs Beethoven's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Major, Op. 61 and Mendelssohn's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in E Minor, Op. 64. As an encore Bach's Partita No. 1 in B Minor, Sarabande and Partita No. 2 in D Minor, Sarabande are performed.
