The book is written by a Blues supporter of nearly sixty years standing who describes many happy (and some not so happy!) events which have taken place during his long association with Chelsea Football Club. It is a nostalgic trip down memory lane which, for the older supporter, might bring back memories of a bygone age. Also, for the younger element who have tasted so much success it might possibly be something of an eye opener! Although primarily aimed at the Chelsea fan, the book refers to players of other clubs and also includes some humorous cricketing anecdotes thrown in for good measure. On that basis it might appeal to sporting devotees generally, even to supporters of a different hue!
