Short Walks Cheshire - Neil Coates

Cheshire is an ideal county to explore on foot. The very name is redolent of rich dairy farming country, dappled with half-timbered country pubs, quaint black and white villages and herds of matching Friesian cattle. The Cheshire 'Edges' on the eastern side of the county fringing the Pennines contrast with the rich grasslands of the Cheshire Plain. Beeston Castle and Peover Hall are two of the historic features visited in this guide; while fascinating and contrasting areas of natural history are explored at Wybunbury Moss and Three Shires Head.
