Angelo Bozzolini directs this documentary about the life and work of Polish composer Frdric Chopin. Using letters written by and sent to Chopin, read by Fabrizio Bentvoglio and Margherita Buy, the film explores different periods in the composer's life, following him from his childhood in Warsaw to Paris, where he moved in 1831 and spent the rest of his years. His work is discussed by, among others, Charles Rosen, Daniel Barenboim and Alexander Lonquich.
