Cloth dolls - Brenda Brightmore

Brenda Brightmore has been making cloth dolls since she was a child. She now not only makes them for her grandchildren but produces a range of exquisite, limited edition dolls that are now found in collections worldwide.
Her subjects range from two poignant evacuees to flapper dolls with 'attitude', and cute babies to cheeky youngsters - all reflecting her humour, skill and experience. Brenda's creations are exclusively her own and based on ideas she has developed, tried and tested over many years.
This book brings together a range of Brenda's dolls complete with patterns and numerous step-by-step line drawings. Every process is shown in detail from cutting patterns to painting faces. Her experience in adult education ensures that even absolute beginners will be able to create their own special 'Brenda Brightmore' dolls.
