Comprehensive textbook of psychotherapy - Bruce Bongar

This is an introduction to the major theories and practices of psychotherapy. The book is designed both to provide a survey review of the major theories in the field and a demonstration of current practices. Two chapters are presented for each of the most important theories, one that describes historical background and theoretical developments and the other presents an abbreviated manual of application. In addition, further chapters are devoted to particular applications andpopulation such as ethnic minorities, women, older adults, and children. Special chapters on research, training, and ethical issues are also provided.
