'Where's the One?' is the result of a unique collaboration between ten musicians from much-admired Congolese bands, Konono No.1 and Kasai Allstars, and ten distinguished Western avant-rock artists - Deerhoof, Juana Molina, Skeletons and Wildbirds & Peacedrums. During ten years and across four continents, new commom languages were created by the participants, who worked to combine the traditional electrified music of the Congolese artists and the various experimental rock styles of the European and American members.
