Collection of three American operas. 'Doctor Atomic' (2007), composed by John Adams, is performed by the Dutch National Opera with Lawrence Renes conducting the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Philip Glass's 'The Perfect American' (2013) is performed at the Teatro Real and stars Christopher Purves and David Pittsinger as Walt and Roy Disney. Finally, Paul Daniel conducts the City of London Sinfonia in the BBC's production of Leonard Bernstein's 'Trouble in Tahiti' (2001).
