Tony Curtis and Colleen Miller star in this 1950s swashbuckling adventure directed by H. Bruce Humberstone. It's 1803 in France and Napoleon Bonaparte (Robert Cornthwaite) rules the land. A group of royalist adversaries fight to oppose Napoleon's rule however, and with the help of the mysterious Purple Mask (Curtis) a plan is put in place. When Laurette de Latour (Miller), whose uncle has been imprisoned by Napoleon, asks for the Purple Mask's assistance in breaking him free, the pair risk capture and their own imprisonment and, potentially, a visit to the guillotine.
