Description

Documentary chronicling the production process of 'La Bayadere' by the Paris Opera Ballet in 1992, based on choreography and staging by Rudolf Nureyev, who died one year later. The film includes rehearsal scenes showing the enormous efforts that the dancers go to in order to produce this ballet, as well as interviews with people who worked and danced with Nureyev and a recording of the ballet in its entirety filmed in 1994.
