Diana had never been ill and on diagnosis she stepped into a parallel world of waiting rooms, treatments, friends and family who supported - or fled - as life became both exquisitely precious and terrible. Dancing with Cancer is a human drama, a ride on the rollercoaster of hope and despair and, as the gradients became gentler, a journey through meditation and creativity to wisdom and acceptance.In the night I was aware of a huge presence near me, amorphous, silvery. I didnt really want to look at it, but it kept being there. I realised it was death, which was why I didnt want to look.Then it coalesced into a silvery-blue column of light, and was very definitely feminine, and soft and loving. Not remotely frightening. I felt she had always been there, that I wasnt being shown this because death is imminent, but because Ive been looking at this, needing to see it. And now I know there is nothing to fear. And now I continue to live.
