Description

Dilip Kumar takes on the roles of twin brothers Sunil and Anil in this tale of fate and suspense. Attending the fair with their young friend Meena (Sharmila Tagore), Sunil and Anil become separated, and Sunil is soon presumed dead. But Meena believes otherwise and continues to hope for his return; and she is right to do, because Sunil is not dead, he has only lost his memory. He is unable to recall who he is or where he came from, and consequently the unfortunate amnesiac grows up far away from his friend and brother - yet there is still a chance that Meena's hopes might be rewarded and that fate might bring Sunil back to her.
