It should be essential reading for auctioneers, dealers, collectors and anyone interested in porcelain.;The Price Guide Series of books on antiques has established itself over many years as providing useful information to collectors on prices, factors influencing prices and points to watch out for when buying.;The first edition of "The Price Guide to 19th and 20th Century British Porcelain" was published in 1975. It provided a snapshot of its time - a picture that can now be seen to be out-of-focus. While this new edition omits several pieces which now seem too obscure or repetitive, there are numerous additional photographs in both black and white and colour. Of those that remain, their captions have been largely rewritten.
