Re-release to mark the 40th anniversary of the movie 'Dawn of the Dead' - a real highlight for soundtrack and movie fans from old master Claudio Simonett. In addition to the 10 original tracks from the score, this reissue includes three live recordings. In 1978, 'Dawn of the Dead' was the successor to George A. Romero's 10-year-old classic 'Night of the Living Dead'. In terms of film technology, Romero's works have since become classics, but the soundtracks also enjoy cult status. For 'Dawn of the Dead' Romero collaborated for the first time with the Italian composer Claudio Simonetti and his project Goblin. Goblin had already made a name for themselves in the years before for the soundtracks to 'Profondo Rosso' and 'Suspiria'. The soundtrack is pressed on silver coloured vinyl. Includes poster.
